“Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein..” Is the song which raised the career of the well known Indian playback singer Javed Ali. Born and brought up in Delhi, Ali started singing at a very early age. Ali changed his name from Javed Hussain to Javed Ali in honour of his guru Ghulam Ali, a famous Ghazal singer. His musical skills are well familiar to one and all. Whether it’s Jashn-e-Bahara from the film Jodha Akbar, Nagaada Nagaada from the movie Jab We Met or Arziyaan from Delhi-6, Javed Ali knows the art of mesmerising everyone with his golden voice. He is a versatile singer who sings in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali and Kannada. He judged a reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs- 2011 on Zee TV. Javed Ali has also partnered with music maestro A.R. Rahman in his singing career and has also lent his voice to the TV soaps. This time Anugoonj-2015 would witness the same compassion and an evening full of zeal and enthusiasm as Javed Ali set the stage on fire on March 2’2015.

Performing at 6 pm onwards Javed Ali would showcase some of his best works. Students can’t wait to see him sing live. Soni Kaur Miglani of GGSIPU feels ‘’Ali has a unique talent of catering to the people of all generations. He can sing both youthful as well as Sufi songs with equal ease’’. While Swati Singh says ‘I am very excited for the show to start as he is one of my favourite singers’. Between 500-600 students are expected to attend the show. The issue of security is being taken seriously. From managing the crowd to providing the necessary facilities to the singer, everything is being thoroughly taken care of. Shivam Pandey, student of GGSIPU says “Ali’s songs are mesmerising and make us feel connected to the divine world.’’ Everyone is now keeping his fingers crossed for the performance of Javed Ali; the entire Anugoonj-2015 would come to an end for the year.
